1. How can I book my stay at Hotel Colombo?

2. What are Check-in and Check-out times?

Check-in starts at 3pm and Check-out is until 11am.

3. Can I cancel or modify my reservation?

You can cancel or modify your reservation writing to: reservas@colombo-hotel.comYour cancelation policies will be according to the rate chosen when booking.  

If you haven´t booked through our website, any change or cancelation is done directly with the agency or platform you chose.

4. Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard and Amex.

5. Is Hotel Colombo suitable for children?

Yes, absolutely. Our apartments are ideal for travelling with children and we have cribs on request. The Hotel also has an outdoor playground, garden, and swimming pool.

6. How does Breakfast work?

We have free buffet breakfast every morning for our guests. If you choose, we take breakfast to your room (fees apply).

7. Do you serve meals?

Yes. Every day we have buffet breakfast and quick meals at Almagreira Bar, according to its schedule.

8. What can I find at the Hotel’s neighborhood?

Hotel Colombo is located at a 5-minute drive to Vila do Porto, where you can find restaurants, bars, and shops, and at a 10-minute drive from the harbor, airport, and Praia Formosa.

9. Is there a parking garage?

We have free outdoor parking spaces.

10. How is the weather at Santa Maria Island?

The weather is usually humid with mild temperatures. The hottest months are, usually, July and August and the coldest are January and February. Although Santa Maria is known for being the sunniest island of the Azores, we recommend our guests to bring a rain jacket and a swimming suit on whatever season they are traveling.

11. Do you have smoking rooms?

Hotel Colombo is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is allowed only at the exterior.

12. Are pets allowed?

No. Only guide animals are allowed.

13. Do you have any rooms for reduced mobility guests?
